     DDK sells, installs and services a wide range of communications products in the Buffalo and Western New York area. We sell the Vertical and Vodavi lines of business telephone systems. These telephone systems have a logical layout and design with intuitive features designed for ease of use. The Vodavi products include the Starplus STSe* and XTS-IP*, the Triad, the Infinite, the Starplus DHS*, the Starplus Digital series, the Starplus analog series, the Mini-Voice, the Dispatch or TalkPath voice mail systems and the Pathfinder voice mail system. These represent only a small number of the business telephone systems, auto attendants, voice mail systems, IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems, computer data networks and paging systems we sell. We also supply and service products from a wide range of other manufacturers including: AT&T, Lucent, Avaya, NEC, Nitsuko, Panasonic,  Comdial, Toshiba, Samsung, Macrotel, Prostar, Amp, Leviton, 3M, and Bogen among others. STSe | DHS | Dispatch | Analog Electronic Key Systems | Starplus Digital

     This Starplus line includes commercial single-line telephones, one and two-line feature telephones, electronic digital hybrid systems, telephone systems, IP* based phone systems, voice mail systems and computer telephone integration (CTI) products. STARPLUS systems are available through large-scale national and regional stocking distributors and retailers, who sell to customers in virtually every city in America. Customer support is provided directly by DDK Telecommunications, Western New York's only priority dealer. Vodavi, a Phoenix based company partly owned by LG Electronics, provides technical support to authorized interconnects to help them with service, support, installation and product training.

     The STARPLUS STSe was introduced in 2006. It's available in basic or expanded system formats. The basic system comes standard with 4 incoming CO (Central Office) line ports, 8 digital station ports and 2 analog SLT (Single Line Telephone) ports and can grow to a maximum of 12 CO lines, 24 digital stations and 2 analog ports. For applications requiring more system capacity, the STARPLUS STSe expanded cabinet can be added to the basic system and provides for a maximum configuration of 28 CO lines, 48 digital stations and 2 analog ports. The system comes with built in caller ID and headset jacks. An optional T1 card or ISDN PRI card and internal (In-skin) voice mail card are available for the system.

     The 8-port in-skin voice mail option has 64 mailboxes and 3 hours of message storage that is expandable to 9 hours. The voice mail card plugs directly into the phone system itself, making this solution refreshingly affordable for any small business by eliminating the need for more costly external equipment and does not reduce the port capacity of the system. For those who want a programmable Windows based Voice Mail system with Auto-Attendant, the full featured Starplus Dispatch or TalkPath and Pathfinder Voice Mail systems are available.

     The STSe phone has 24 flexible buttons that can be programmed for a wide variety of features as shown in the STSe sales brochure. These buttons can be programmed to monitor stations in use, enable one touch speed dial or enable system features such as Redial, All Call Page, Caller ID functions, Off Hook Voice Over, etc. In addition to complete CTI (Computer Telephone Integration) capability, the phone also has 3 interactive soft keys on the backlit display to allow for scrollable access to preprogrammed and commonly used features. The STS phone has a standard 2.5 mm headset jack and an Additional Device Port (ADP) for fax or modem connection. STS telephones are available in your choice of Charcoal Gray (Black) or Off-White and are designed for communication effectiveness. * Defined abbreviations: STSe: Small Telephone System enhanced, XTS: Expandable Telephone System, DHS: Digital Hybrid System, IP: Internet Protocol is a form of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service whereby telephone calls are placed and received over the internet. ISDN PRI stands for Integrated Services Digital Network - Primary Rate Interface and is a 23 channel digital incoming phone line. It is similar to a 24 channel digital T1 line.
